Due to the nation's current economic downturn, the USHCC has postponed its Latina Leadership Summit - initially scheduled for February 18-19, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada - until our 30th Annual National Convention & Business Expo this September 16-19, 2009, in Denver, Colorado.
The USHCC remains committed to strengthening Latina-owned businesses and maintaining its overall initiative to support Latina entrepreneurs. We will continue to emphasize the role of Latinas in business as exemplified by several ongoing meetings and activities planned throughout 2009. The USHCC will identify and explore other cost effective and economical networking and procurement opportunities such as webinars and virtual trade shows for Latina-owned businesses.
